Maternal Instincts

Maternal Instincts is a watercolor artwork depicting a mother Tiger with her cub.

With this artwork I've tried to highlight the mothers instinct to protect her cub with her intently staring into the distance, all to aware of the many unseen dangers around her.

While the contrasting behaviour of her cub, sitting, distracted while exploring the land around them, blissfully unaware of the dangers hidden in the shadows.
